CEAR takes environmental issues to Mawira Secondary School
As the rest of the globe celebrated World Environment Day doing various activities, CEAR’s Environmental team visited Mawira Secondary School in Liwonde for a sensitization meeting with the students.
During the sensitization meeting, one of the Environmental Analysts made a presentation explaining what World Environment Day is, how it came to be and the importance of commemorating it. The presentation also shed more light on CEAR’s services and its connection to the Nacala Corridor.
As one way of testing the students’ listening skills, CEAR team were asking the students questions from the presentation and the ones that gave the correct answers were being rewarded with CEAR branded t-shirts and caps with this year’s World Environment Day slogan “I’m with nature.”
